Jamie Steinmetz
Jamie Steinmetz is an attorney in Korein Tillery’s St. Louis office. Jamie received her J.D. in 2005 from St. Louis University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in the states of Missouri and Illinois.
Jamie has extensive experience in developing the factual narratives that provide a key cornerstone for Korein Tillery’s complex litigation practice. With expertise in e-discovery, privilege issues, deposition preparation, and the negotiation of pretrial discovery protocols, Jamie supervises discovery teams and is instrumental in preparation for depositions and trial. Jamie was an integral part of the litigation team that represented the National Credit Union Administration Board in multi-billion dollar cases against Wall Street investment banks arising from misrepresentations concerning residential mortgage-backed securities in violation of the Securities Act and state law. Jamie assisted with the drafting of pleadings, motions, and expert reports. She also reviewed thousands of documents, assisted with deposition preparation, and second chaired multiple depositions. Jamie managed teams of reviewers in the In Re Foreign Exchange Antitrust Litig. (S.D.N.Y.) and Axiom Investment Advisors, LLC v. Deutsche Bank (S.D.N.Y.) litigations, including training, workspace development, project execution, and quality control. Jamie has personally reviewed hundreds of thousands of documents from the complex financial services sector, and has developed both search and AI protocols to streamline reviews. Jamie has participated in the drafting and negotiations of ESI protocols for multiple cases. Jamie received her Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) certification in 2020.
Jamie received her B.S. in Marketing, Advertising and Promotions from Missouri State University. A striker for the Bears, in 2008 she was inducted into Missouri State’s Athletic Hall of Fame for her achievements on the soccer field, and currently remains Missouri State’s career leader in goals, assists, and points.
